Plain terms for a small piece of software. VaniQ is made by Coheron Lab. By using it you agree to what follows.
A subscription to use VaniQ on macOS for as long as you keep paying. One subscription covers the Macs you sign in to with the same account. It is a licence to use the app, not a sale of it.
If VaniQ does not do what this site says it does, email within 14 days of your first payment and you will get a full refund, no argument. After that, refunds are at our discretion. Refunds are issued through Dodo Payments, our merchant of record.
VaniQ asks for microphone access to hear you and Accessibility access to type into other applications. It uses them for nothing else. You can revoke either in System Settings at any time, and the app will stop working rather than work around it.
Speech recognition makes mistakes. The measurements published on this site are real and reproducible, but they describe a specific test set on specific hardware, and your results will differ. Read what VaniQ types before you rely on it — particularly in anything that matters.
VaniQ works offline by design. The parts that need a network — signing in, the first model download, and the subscription check — depend on services we do not run, so we cannot promise they are never unavailable.
VaniQ is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, Coheron Lab is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and total liability is limited to what you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
You can stop any time by cancelling. We may end an account that breaks these terms, and will refund any unused period if we do.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without affecting consumer rights you have where you live.
